The 14th edition of ARDiST will take place on the Pont de Bois university campus in Villeneuve d’Ascq from June 16 to 19, 2026.
The ARDiST Young Researchers’ Weekend (WEJCH) will be held at the Valjoly leisure center from June 14 to 15, 2026.
Scientific organization
To foster a wide range of rich and diverse exchanges, the 14th ARDiST Scientific Conference will include several types of sessions:
Communication sessions: these will present ongoing or recently completed research. Each presentation will be allocated 30 minutes, with 15 to 20 minutes for the presentation itself followed by 10 to 15 minutes of discussion.
Symposia: each will bring together three presentations from researchers affiliated with at least two different research units working on similar issues, along with a designated discussant. Each symposium will last 2 hours, with time distribution managed by the symposium organizer, ensuring at least 20 minutes are reserved for audience interaction. Proposals for longer symposia are also welcome.
Invited lectures: these will offer contributions to science and technology education, connected to current research developments.
A round table: focused on interdisciplinarity in science and technology education research, particularly the intersections between this field and other educational or disciplinary domains.
For these 14th scientific meetings of ARDIST, the three conferences and the round table aim to answer the following topical question: What is the role of education in science and technology in the face of environmental and social transitions, with regard to questions concerning epistemology and scientific culture?
Following the conference, participants will have the opportunity to submit a full-length paper for inclusion in the volume After the 14th Conference, to be published by the association.
